The peak of Al-Qurn, the hidden pyramid. This site was selected for the placement of the many tombs in the valley, as this natural formation met the requirements for Ra, but would not be recognized as a pyramid to grave robbers.

The Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple. This is the location of the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut.
The red circle indicates where a Mt. Rushmore style mountain carving of a Pharaoh used to exist.
If you look close, you can imagine how it used to look.
These colors are the original and have been around since roughly 2100 BC.
