Dubai, UAE: Pictures (Round Two)

Ski Dubai!!! (Or, Snowboard Dubai in our example)



This place is in a mall. I mean, for crying out loud. Dubai is just unreal.



All garbed up and ready to go.



Two thumbs up!



Artificial snow, and slope. In the desert. Amazing.



Some things, you just don't see coming. Like, this Shell sign.



Or, seeing a TGIFridays in the mall while riding a ski lift.



There were really two slopes, and you could offboard the lift halfway up and ride the lower one down if you so chose.



Sitting in the Mall of the Emirates, looking in at some ice sculpture. Unreal.

Dubai does everything BIG. You have to wonder if there is some kind of overcompensation complex at work.
